Mr. Duine

Quote:

“Back when I was a student at Diadem University, they had a class where they went over each known religion’s interpretation of the afterlife.”

~ Peyton, on Diadem University

Species:

Human

Gender:

Male

Profession:

Dean of Diadem College.

History:

Mr. Duine is the dean of Diadem College, the island’s place of higher learning. The college’s students design clothing in Madam Miranda’s studio, model in her fashion shows, and occasionally end up in Judge Fulmo’s courtroom for wrecking classrooms. Peyton studied there, Morana once moonlighted there as a teacher, and Nash enrolled specifically to use the college’s resources to study the gold metal beneath the island, enlisting Professor Sebastian Whitmore’s help.

Notes:

• Nash later destroyed every book on the island’s history he could find, including those at the college.
