Dolma

Quote:

“Well to be clear, Dolma is… was… very headstrong and tended to jump into danger.”

~ Awar, on Dolma

Species:

Condor

Gender:

Male

Profession:

Snack counter attendant at the Diadem movie theater. Star of the documentary film The Magic Circle.

History:

Dolma Pe runs the snack counter at Diadem’s movie theater, serving fresh popcorn with six seasonings, sodas, lemonades, and classic candies. He works alongside his Magic Circle co-stars Awar and Mallory.

In The Magic Circle, Dolma was the headstrong lead who threw himself into every danger while chasing the legend of the twelve treasures, and the film doubles as a catalogue of his injuries: burns, temporary blindness, the bends, frostbite, electrocution, a horse kick to the head, night terrors, and much more, each landing him in the hospital. The film ends with Dolma raising his hands before twelve glowing orbs outside City Hall, but the reel is burnt out before anything happens. In the film, a boy in an indigo hoodie he calls “a victim of the harsh environment” simply stands up and walks off mid-shot.

Notes:

• Well-groomed blond hair. Wears the theater’s red and gold vest uniform.
• Wears braces he is clearly not used to yet, which is obvious when he speaks.
• Awar catches himself describing Dolma in the past tense.
