Morana

Quote:

“Well if it’s the Guardian you’re after, then look no further! I’m Morana, and this is… the best disappearing act you never saw! Apparently!”

~ Morana

“You know… now that I think of it… if you’re really serious about defeating the demesne Masters, whom were all technically former Kings, and taking their symbols of rule… that would mean you aim to become… Kings of Kings~”

~ Morana

History:

Morana Snezkhov is a retired teacher who once moonlighted as a college teacher and was a frequent visitor to the Grand Library, always wanting to learn just a little more, and is old friends with Conroy. She is a former Regalia Hunter and one of the few people open about having a greatly extended lifespan.

About five years ago, a flock of crying children ran into the Tundra cabin begging for help, and Morana went to see what had happened. She found Whittaker, the demesne’s Master, beaten and broken by yet another attack, asking only whether the children were okay. She earned his trust with warm meals, cleaning his home, and her old clothes, and made him an offer: she would pretend to be the Master, protect his home and the children, and in exchange live with him and help him get used to people again. She treats him with protective affection, carrying him like he weighs nothing.

She told the Kings of Kings that every Master was once a King, and coined their title. She later brought Whittaker to visit them and then to the Grand Library, where she stepped into Conroy’s chronomancy chamber so her knowledge of Diadem’s history could write a new Diadem’s Chronology, and was stunned to realize it described Conroy and Whittaker as pieces of God. She also challenged the Kings of Kings for the Mocha Verglas after they won it, unwilling to challenge Whittaker for it herself but happy to challenge them.
