Azar

Quote:

“Sheeeiiit… Azar is not happy.”

~ Arledge

Species:

Dragon (red, with golden underscales)

Gender:

Male

Profession:

Arledge’s pet and friend, living in the wilds of the Violet Demesne.

History:

Azar is a young red dragon who lives in a freshly dug cavern beyond the Violet Demesne’s farmer’s market. He has only one friend, Arledge, who brings him sacks of food. He does not like being touched by people he doesn’t know, let alone attacked.

When Azar began roaring and threatening the market, Arledge asked the Kings of Kings to wear him out, as violence was their only option. Once he was exhausted, they found a cut through the scales of his left leg that dripped gold dust and ate Arledge’s healing magic, which is what had spooked him. Nash later admitted he had followed Arledge out to see the dragon and tried to take a few scales for a more comfortable sword handle; when Azar dropped out of the sky on him, Nash struck in self defense.

Notes:

• Immune to fire, resistant to melee, weak to water and ice.
• Attacks with claws, bite, fire breath, and a sweeping tail.
• Still had his appetite after the fight, chewing on one of Arledge’s sacks.
