Profession:

Master of the Silver Demesne, the Temple, and Chief Justice of Diadem’s courthouse. Known as Fulmo the King of Judgment, believing in the Law. Holder of the Rai Revolvers.

History:

Judge Fulmo Uncial is the personified concept of lightning and SWIFTNESS. His demesne holds Diadem’s courthouse, the Temple of Justice, along with the Thunder Force’s main office, its training grounds, and the prison. He is the reason the Thunder Force exists: its officers emulate his lightning magic and fighting style, and he personally trained the three commanders. His courtroom alone has no jury box, because he can see the electricity in a mortal body light up when it lies, and he renders verdicts on the spot, often with unusual sentences tailored to the offender.

He sentenced the repeat offender Lucky to life in prison on the Kings of Kings’ testimony, and was furious when Lucky walked free on a forged work release. He keeps a personal list of his failures as a judge and carries out his own “sentencing” every day, beating himself bloody in his temple for each one.

Fulmo lives on a sky plain of ruined Greek and Roman style homes above the demesne, with his sarcastic maid and groundskeeper Naina, whose remarks he can barely keep from laughing at. His temple is lined with statues of thunder gods, Zeus, Thor, Indra, Perkunas, Shango, Lei Gong, which he calls past lives. When the Kings of Kings defeated Jensen and Valeos, he stopped the furious Thunder Force with a lightning strike and carried both commanders to the hospital himself, and later faced the Kings of Kings with a pair of silver revolvers under a police-cap helmet. In the epilogue, he let the people decide Harken’s fate in his courtroom.

Notes:

  • Black and silver banded fur, spiky silver hair that crackles with energy, and electric blue eyes with a silver glow.
  • Bleeds silver.
  • Wears thin rim sunglasses outside the courtroom; his handshake makes everyone’s hair stand up with static.
  • Has a weakness for sarcasm.
