Species:

Gryphon

Gender:

Female

Profession:

Master of the Pink Demesne, the Satellite, and its Madam. Fashion designer of nearly all clothing worn in Diadem. Known as Miranda the Intimate Queen, believing in relationships. Holder of the Star Scourge.

History:

Miranda Baarah is the personified concept of space and WHERE. Her demesne is a Grand Palais-style hall aboard a satellite in orbit, its black walls actually windows looking down on the Earth. It hosts her monthly fashion shows, a zero gravity room, a studio where Diadem College students design clothing with her, and a boutique. Every piece of clothing sold in the Diadem Mall is her design, marked with her pink flower insignia. She wishes for everyone to find closeness, physical or emotional, and will flirt with literally anyone.

When the Kings of Kings first asked to challenge her, she offered a one-on-one with whoever volunteered, teleported them to her bedroom behind a challenge barrier, and challenged them to satisfy her, best two out of three. Whatever the result, she promised to build a true arena and make their real challenge a spectacle seen across Diadem.

She adopted Caelum a few years ago, and he works her events as an announcer and runs her zero gravity room. When the Kings of Kings returned, Miranda was headlining a rock concert with Caelum, Eli, and Jamir to raise money for the victims of the Black Demesne incident. She called the disgraced heroes onto the stage and, when they had nothing to say for themselves, defended them herself, listing everything they had done for the island until the entire audience was cheering for them. Caelum then wrote a song for their Regalia Challenge as the concert’s encore.

Notes:

• Caramel brown, with dark brown feathered wings, a lion’s tail, unusual neck plumage, and elongated ears.
• Amber avian eyes with a soft pink glow, and a rounded brown haircut with a single pink flower in it.
• Can teleport herself and others with space magic.
• Her bodyguards, Garun and Lancer, guard her private quarters.
• Calls herself Caelum’s mom, which he begrudgingly accepts.
