Master of the Green Demesne, the Meadow, and its “Land Lord.” Known as Corentin the Calm King, believing in serenity. Holder of the Zeph Arcus.
History:
Corentin Tasnyak is the personified concept of wind and YIELD. His demesne is a peaceful, airy pasture where stress can be left behind, home to Villi’s horse ranch, Bell’s archery range, a yoga class, kite flyers, crafters, and a sprawling free tea garden. He lives in a treehouse built with sashimono joinery in a fifty-foot-wide oak, and hosts guests for white, green, or black tea. Cassius is his brother.
His Regalia, the bow Zeph Arcus, was stolen some months before the Kings of Kings arrived, and he treats it like a lost sock, because a stressed Master in a peaceful demesne would be counterintuitive. When Marauders hid in his tall grass, he fired a rubber-tipped arrow that popped and deafened them, then unfurled his wings and blew them out through the gate with a single gust. Over tea he told the Kings of Kings how each demesne suits its Master, and urged them to claim rest as their mortal birthright.
Corentin is something of an uncle to Caelum, who seeks out his peace when he cannot find his own. When the Kings of Kings returned the bow, Corentin asked Caelum to watch their challenge, and when Caelum shattered the challenge ring in tears the moment someone fell, Corentin gently helped him admit his grief and shared how he had made peace with eternity, then switched the challenge to something nonviolent. After Nash and Zeroth were fused, it was Corentin who suggested the name Nanashi.
