Gender:

Profession:
Master of the Blue Demesne, the Ocean, and “Don” of its wharf. Known as Dorrin the King of Sorrow, believing in patience. Holder of the Tide Turner.
History:
Dorrin Dodici is the personified concept of water and ENDURING. His demesne is a wharf island surrounded by endless ocean, where fishermen’s catches go noticeably better when he is around to guide the fish to their nets. He encourages unwavering stoicism, even behind an ocean of tears, and is rarely seen smiling.
Ten years ago on Halloween, while the Masters handed out candy at the capitol, the orphanage children came by first, and Dorrin caught sight of a five year old black and white wolf girl with eyes as red as a fresh kill. He adopted her that night. Masters cannot have children of their own, and the two became thick as thieves, a “tag team from Hell” who drove off Marauders together. He later married Olodena, the CEO of Diadem’s timber industry, who took up fishing in his demesne when the Forest was shut down.
A few months before the Kings of Kings arrived, three masked challengers fought Dorrin for his Regalia while their men took Vivid hostage. The moment he realized she was gone, the leader in the longcoat and helmet shot him with a gold-plated pistol. Dorrin stood back up anyway, crushing the leader’s helmet in his jaws and the other two by the throats, until they surrendered and fled with his daughter. Knowing a grieving, rampaging shark in Diadem would incite a riot, he stayed in his demesne and waited, refusing every newcomer.
When LIND confirmed Vivid was alive, Dorrin broke down on the dock and declared it to the whole demesne, promising to accept the Kings of Kings’ challenge in repayment. When they returned, the entire wharf chanted his name as he introduced himself properly, hosted a seafood feast in their honor, and fought them for the Tide Turner. After the fall of the Crooked King he personally forgave Harken, who had fired that shot on Nash’s orders, and after Vivid came home he moved into an underwater cavern so she could live as independently as she likes.
